This spectacular wooded property has it all. Excellent access begins at the road front on the County highway. The driveway is heavily stoned from past timber harvesting activities leading to a nice clearing suitable for your home, camp or camper. From there, the internal trail system leads you through the entire property. Ideally suited for hiking or ATV use and certainly for hunting.
The forest is comprised of maple, cherry, red oak, hickory, hemlock and more. Timber was thinned last in 2022. There is still timber throughout the property creating an excellent long-term investment here.
The combination of mast producing species and warm hemlock cover zones helps to keep the deer on this property. Deer trails, rubs and scrapes can be found throughout the property. Turkey are frequent visitors too with plenty of scratching areas found through the forest as well.
Add to this the full-time flowing Slab City Creek and you have a water source for wildlife and a place for kids, family and friends to enjoy the sounds of the stream, flip rocks for crayfish and salamanders and just enjoy nature at its best!
The area snowmobile trail also runs along the south boundary of the property, adding one more thing to do here in winter!
