Ask Brian Bullard
The property is almost entirely wooded with a great mix of both hardwoods and hemlock creating ideal food, bedding and cover for deer and turkey here. The combination of hard maple, soft maple, black cherry, red oak, white ash, hemlock and white pine provide ample food and thermal cover that helps to hold the wildlife.
The terrain is easy going, starting with a slight uphill grade a short distance to the top flat of the hill where it breaks to a gentle downhill to the stream on the property. Former logging roads make it easier to access most parts of the property on foot or ATV.
The property has approximately 275 feet of road frontage at the end of Friar Road and electric is available at the road front.
Brookfield Railroad State Forest is only about 0.6 miles away for additional hunting and hiking opportunities while Beaver Creek State Forest is about 4 miles away.
